Breakthrough in Hallands̴sen РKSE assists
Skrivet av Redaktör, den 25/8, 2010
KSE manages the audio-visual technologies. It’s been a very exciting project with great uncertainty about when the drill will break through. Technology and staff have been on standby for several weeks. The special environment in the tunnel requires innovative and ingenious solutions. We have worked together with aplusa, Sapp, Skanska and the Swedish Road Administration to make an exciting event of this historic moment.
Inside the drill chamber we used the same technology as in our silent disco. The visitors received continuous information under their hearing protection. We projected slide shows directly on the tunnel walls and lit the 200 meter tunnel with effect lights. In the tunnel entrance, we set up a series of image surfaces, rig, audio and lighting.
Sapp did the image production for cameras and webcast.
Now we are headed home to clean the equipment, which is literally covered in dust…

Saab launch of the new 9-5 for press and dealers
Skrivet av Redaktör, den 24/6, 2010
KSE has helped Saab install the technology for lighting, sound and image, when they transformed different rooms (changing rooms, etc.) inside the factory site to a separate exhibition hall.
The new exhibition hall is used for the first time when Saab launches the new 9-5. During two months, the new car is shown to invited guests. The project premiered for specially invited guests on Friday, May 28. The first two weeks the car was shown to the world press. Between the end of May and June 11 the factory was visited by hundreds of journalists from newspapers, radio and television. Now dealers from around the world are traveling to Trollhättan. They visit the new exhibition hall in groups inside the Saab factory almost daily for six weeks this summer.
KSE have been involved in the design of the use of sound, light and image in these exhibitions, not only in the showroom, but also in Restaurang Albert where dinner is served, and at Saab’s own test track. We are also responsible for all installation of the technology and the technical production on site during all 8 weeks. Our staff is spending the summer taking care of sound, light and image so that everything is in place every day during this important launch for Saab.

KSE is growing and evolving
Skrivet av Redaktör, den 2/6, 2010
A couple of weeks ago, we had a good time at our loading bay together with friends, clients and partners. We ate and drank well – had rum and coffee tasting – we hung out and listened to great music. The Gothenburg Improvisation Theater was there and played improvisation games with us from the stage.
In conjunction with this year’s first barbecue we decided to share some news with our closest friends who were there. We had said beforehand that there was going to be more of us, the we were becoming larger and more feminine.
This is no secret. That is why we feel it is important to elaborate a little on what it really is we have done and are doing.

More of us
This means that the KSE are recruiting new forces. It’s about a few reinforcements of different kinds who we surely will have reasons to tell you more about further on. Here we will introduce two of them briefly, and we expect to have more news in the near future.
Dan Lindgren
Has previously worked at Telemekano as an installer and a programmer.
His skills include, video, image and computer engineering.
He is to work at KSE with primarily image and video as well as design and production.
Göran Widham
He has previously worked at an event/communications agency in Stockholm and as a freelance communications advisor.
His expertise includes marketing, communication and the use of event technology.
Göran was hired both to handle KSE’s own marketing efforts as well as to grow sales of major events by serving as creator and project manager.
Larger
KSE aren’t growing only in manpower. We also knocked out the wall to our neighbor and thus made our warehouse a considerable number of cubic meters larger. The additional surface also facilitates the expansion of our office to house our new recruits.
More feminine
The CEO position is taken over by Ann-Sofie Sträng. She has long been our CFO. With ten years experience working at KSE and three years as a partner, she has a good understanding of the business. The appointment is a natural step from Ann-Sofie already having had staff responsibility.

KSE has in cooperation with Space Production and PONG completed the exhibition Krimlab for Universeum. (Universeum is Scandinavias biggest science center situated in Gothenburg.) Krimlab is one of their exhibitions showing the use of science in criminal investigations.
We designed all the technical solutions for the exhibition as well as the lighting. Space was in charge of the project and built the exhibition and PONG developed the software.
It has been a very creative project under tight time schedule. The exhibition opened Wednesday March 31st.
Working for KSE in this project was Jesper Olsson with lighting design, Ola Schönbeck as project manager and technical solutions and Kjell Person construction and assembly.
